We wouldn’t be good wedding planners if we didn’t blog about the Royal Wedding today, right? To recap from the beginning…
OH, the hats! Weren’t they phenomenal? We wouldn’t have expected anything less, as this is the wedding of the century. From quaint to crazy (umm, Princess Beatrice?), there was eye candy abound.
Prince William and Prince Harry looked incredibly regal, and we loved the little laughs the two of them shared preceding the ceremony.

The dress: we adored it, but definitely expected her to go a little more modern, as she is a “modern princess.” However, while it was beautiful and classic (with a nod to Grace Kelly), the panels on the gown and the fact that it was made by Sarah Burton from the House of McQueen gave it it’s contemporary edge.

We thought Princess Catherine did a great job bringing her “English Garden” theme to a historic and grand space such as Westminster Abbey. We loved that she was able to bring in oak trees to line the aisle, especially since oak trees are now part of her family’s Coat of Arms, as they were prominent in the area she grew up.

All in all, she was absolutely stunning, and the couple looked incredibly happy and in love – even a bit nervous…to be expected with MILLIONS of people watching! And didn’t you love her reaction to the throngs of people as they walked out onto the balcony at Buckingham Palace? “Oh my!” This was truly a fairy tale for the ages. Congrats to the new bride and groom, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge!
