Whether you are hosting a dinner at your apartment or celebrating 2012 with a night out on the town, be sure to ring in the New Year in style. We created this inspiration board through Polyvore to leave you with a few ideas before the countdown begins. Happy New Year!

With Thanksgiving behind us and the holiday season looming, the search is on for the perfect gifts for Mom, hubs, your girlfriends and the rest of your clan. Our favorite place to gather ideas is over at New York Mag’s “Shop-a-Matic.” They have 150 unique gift ideas for everyone on your list, even for the most discerning recipient who already has it all! We love the “One Line a Day” journal to give to your best gal pal or the bride-to-be as she counts down the days leading up to the wedding and then the “newlywed” days thereafter. What’s your favorite??

Interested in a way to impress your friends this holiday season? We are offering Harvest and Holiday dinners, with a private chef and sommelier, in the comfort of your own home. Check out what’s included:

Happy Halloween Bellafarians! Today we are sharing a few unique Halloween ideas to set your next party apart from others.
Carved out pumpkins to serve drinks in (we recommend pumpkin ale for a seasonal treat)

Orange and white candy bar

Paint pumpkins black and white for a chic alternative

Disguise hors d’oeuvres as creepy crawlers, ghosts, and monsters

We found a way for you to cheat during Thanksgiving – without having to slave over your KitchenAid. For the first time, Four & Twenty Blackbirds is pre-ordering their signature pies online for the Thanksgiving rush! Available in four holiday flavors: brown butter pumpkin, bittersweet chocolate pecan, salty honey, and the salted caramel apple (our fave!). Make sure to visit their site and get your order in soon, before they sell out, and everyone will be talking about you as the hostess with the mostess!

Having trouble putting together a fun & playful outfit for this 4th of July weekend? Head over to Polyvore.com to mix & match different outfits for your afternoon BBQ or late night fireworks!
We love the glitz and glamour of New Years Eve and think it is the perfect time to put on that flashy little number and celebrate. We created this New Years Eve inspiration board from www.polyvore.com (which is our newest obsession) for you to enjoy. Happy holidays and best wishes in the new year!

It’s that time of year for holiday parties, and if you’re planning on being the “hostess with the mostest,” we have a great theme idea for you. How about “Winter Wonderland?” We know you’ve heard of this theme before, but we have some great ideas to include at your celebration.
~Don’t just serve the expected egg nog, try a drink with a twist, like an “Angel’s Wing,” made with creme de cacao, brandy, and cream.
~Add to the decor and food options at one time by building a meringue tree, like the one pictured below.
~Buy some white birch of different heights to place your platters of food on top of.
~Vanilla cupcakes with white buttercream frosting and a coconut topping, to give a “snowy” effect.
~Make your own knitted snowflake ornaments…or if you’re short on time (and creativity), buy them from Etsy.
~A cheeseboard including mozzerella, white cheddar, brie, goat cheese, etc. served with water crackers.
~White pillar candles, of course!
~Rent or buy a great white velvet linen. We love the one below from Wildflower Linen.

…for holiday window displays! It’s our favorite time of year in New York with the city abuzz in holiday chaos. While shopping for the perfect gifts for your friends and family, be sure to take a moment and check out the ornate window displays at Saks, Lord & Taylor, Macy’s and more. And don’t forget to watch the new Snowflake & Bubbles 3D Light Show at Sak’s, directly across from the famed Rockefeller Christmas tree!
